DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD - Final Draft & Changes

First, I change the spacing between the pull quote on the right as my peers said it didn't look very professional when it was previously spaced out. I then aligned the bottom and top of my articles to give a better structural appearance. Finally I changed the page numbers along the bottom to a more simple and smaller style to ensure that the double page spread is the main focus on the page.

I added some CD covers to the page as Helen thought this was a nice feature within my magazine and that I shouldn't get rid of it, so I made some new ones which looked more visually appealing than the last. I used Photoshop to create these.

FRONT COVER - Final Draft & Changes

Before submitting my final version I made a number of changes to my first draft suggested by my peers and Helen. Firstly I added a banner to the top of the page, this follows the banner on the double page spread and also allows for more cover lines on the page so readers can geet a deeper insight into what the magazine entails. I then put the main image of my model in front of the masthead to show that this is the most dominant image on the page and because it's a typical magazine convention meaning it looks professional. Finally, I then added a puff to right hand side of the page as Helen said this would look a lot better and catches viewers attention better than if it was amongst the cover lines like before.
